Little Helpers

The weather over the past several weeks has been wicked hot. The kids can only stay cooped up in the house for so long. The other night we decide to go outside after dinner and invade the cooler weather (in the 80s still). One of the items on the to do list was weed the gardens. Any time Derek can use his shovels and pails he has a blast. Brooke is determined not to be to far behind her big brother and enjoys playing in the dirt almost as much has Derek does. Needless to say Megan and I weeded the gardens while Derek and Brooke released some energy before bedtime.
